Ganesha

One of the most revered and widely loved gods of the Hindu belief, Lord Ganesha is known and worshipped by many all across the world. Ganesha can very easily be recognized by one of his most striking features: an elephant head. 

Lakshmi

One of the most important deities of the Hindu religion as well as considered to be the Supreme Being by some believers, Lakshmi is the god of wealth, fortune, and prosperity. Lakshmi is the counterpart of the god Vishnu and herself is the protector and giver of wealth and other material desires.

Krishna

If there is one deity in Hinduism that is popular amongst and revered by most of the believers and followers of the religion, it is the famed Lord Krishna. Krishna is one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The name Krishna literally means ‘black’.

Shiva

Literally, Shiva means auspicious, which may seem to be somewhat contradictory to the title given to him, which is the god of destruction. But as is known, Shiva is the god of contradictions.

Durga

Known by many other names such as Shakti and Devi, the goddess Durga is the possessor of enormous amounts of force and power and eradicates evil to protect her followers and believers and gives them a safe haven. She has been called the protector of the world and of the universe.
